Morgans Originals in Mumbai invites applications for an Operations role at the main entrance, handling guest reception, traffic flow, and concierge tasks. You will coordinate taxis, assist with luggage, and support VIP guests to ensure a seamless lobby experience.

The position requires strong communication, attentiveness, and a proactive service mindset to align with hotel activities and guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the main entrance.
• Direct traffic flow at the driveway and coordinate shuttle and taxi information.
• Report incidents and redirect traffic when required.
• Assist guests with taxi requests and luggage handling as needed.
• Coordinate parking for VIP guests and ensure proper reception.
• Work with car Valets to maintain smooth traffic flow.
• Know shuttle and taxi charges to provide accurate information.
• Provide direction, information and assistance to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance and lobby areas, free of obstacles.
• Be aware of daily hotel events and activities.
• Remember VIP/repeat guests, greeting them personally.
• Alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious persons or items.
• Assist Bellman with luggage duties when required.

Operation

• Greet and welcome all guests at the main entrance
• Monitor and ensure smooth traffic flow at the driveway by directing cars and coaches accordingly
• Report on incidents/accidents at driveway and redirect traffic flow when required
• Assist guests with taxi requests and in loading, unloading and tagging of luggage for from taxi or luggage van
• Coordinate parking lots for VIP guests and ensure they are duly received
• Work hand in hand with car Valets to always ensure smooth traffic flow
• Be well versed with all shuttle and taxi booking charges to provide accurate information to guests
• Provide direction, information and/or assistance to guests as and when required
• Maintain general cleanliness of the entrance and main door areas, ensure that they are free of obstacles
• Be conversant with the events of the day and of daily Hotel activities
• Try to remember individual guests’ names especially VIP, repeat and long staying guests. Routinely greet guests as they pass through the lobby to extend a personalized service
• Alert Security or Duty Manager of suspicious looking person(s) / articles
• Assist Bellman in luggage duties when required
