What is non‑negotiable is deep expertise in pensions administration, a strong understanding of the regulatory environment, pensions rules, and the ability to work through and explain complex calculation scenarios and cases.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple way are essential. Prior, in‑depth training experience is not a requirement.
