Job summary

Burns & McDonnell Mumbai office is seeking a CAD Engineer with 2-8 years experience in Electrical/Civil drafting. You will create technical drawings from specifications, prepare rough sketches and detailed work using AutoCAD, Revit, ECAD, Civil3D, and coordinate with engineers to incorporate client markups.

You will ensure designs comply with regulations, manage multiple projects, and participate in client meetings, flexibly supporting various roles across local and international projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Civil with 2-5 years experience OR ITI in Electrical/Civil with 6-8 years experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in computer-aided design and drafting AutoCAD
• Proven verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of overhead distribution construction methods and distribution system equipment
• Experience with various CADD tools like AutoCAD, Revit, ECAD, Civil3D
• Knowledge regarding easements, right-of-way, and permitting
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize work
• Flexibility to work in different roles for different clients both locally and worldwide
