The Director – Sustainability is a senior leadership position responsible for supporting and advancing the university’s sustainability vision and initiatives.

Reporting to and assisting the Pro Vice-Chancellor, the Director will play a key role in integrating sustainability across academic programs, research, and campus operations.

The role focuses on driving impactful environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices while enhancing the university’s reputation as a responsible and future-focused institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and report to the Pro Vice-Chancellor in developing and implementing the university’s sustainability strategy.
• Lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across academics, research, and campus operations.
• Support the development and implementation of ESG frameworks, policies, and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with national and international sustainability standards and regulations.
