DescriptionDirector Mobile App and Stores TechnologyDirector Mobile App and Stores Technology is a leadership position. He / she will be instrumental in driving the strategy for the Mobile App and the Stores Technology areas for all the project deliverables. The individual is expected to drive the center of excellence team and will be responsible for designing and developing applications which is in par with the industry. He / she should have extensive experience with the latest mobile and web technologies and frameworks. The person is expected to have good collaboration skills as he/she is expected to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with global product management, engineering, and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap, and release plans.
• Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Mentor and guide high-performing engineering teams.
• Deliver applications that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs and influence ideation.
• Participate and provide inputs on technology standards and policies, continuous process improvements.
• Self-motivated with a desire to mentor a team and the ability to drive the team to accomplish high-quality deliverables.
• Leadership and management of the engineering team including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
• Nurture innovation Should have the ability to multitask across different areas.

QualificationsExperienceEducation:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
• Masters degree is desirable.

Professional Background:

• Around 18 years of experience.
• Specialized in Mobile App design and development, with a focus spanning at least 7 years.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive proficiency in Mobile Technologies, including:iOS (iOS SDK), Android (Android Framework, Java),Hybrid Mobile Apps (Flutter is a plus),Kotlin Multi-Platform (nice to have),HTML5, JavaScript, responsive design, Swift, Swift UI, CombineKnowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of Distributed Systems.
• Proven experience in providing solutions at the enterprise level, managing complex projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with managerial responsibilities, including guiding, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Project Management: Possesses robust project management skills. Extensive use of the Agile methodology in system development.
• Solution Architecture: Successful track record in translating business requirements into technology solutions. Balanced skill set between conceptual and technical architecture.
• Communication and Collaboration: Collaborative with the ability to communicate and persuade stakeholders, employees, and management at all levels. Thrives in a cross-functional environment.
• Industry Engagement:Actively participates in various forums to stay current with the latest in technology.
