The ideal candidate has 7+ years in mobile development, 2+ years in leadership, and strong Swift or Kotlin/Java skills, with experience publishing on App Store and Google Play.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• 2+ years as Mobile Team Lead or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Deep understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide the mobile development team across iOS and Android.
• Own the team’s day-to-day execution, delivery progress, and priorities.
• Ensure clear responsibilities, tasks, and agreed delivery timelines.
• Define and enforce mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP, or Clean Architecture).
• Coordinate app submissions, updates, and release notes.

Responsibilities

1.TeamLeadership

• Lead,mentor,andguidethemobiledevelopmentteamacrossiOSandAndroid.
• Takeownershipoftheteam’sday-to-dayexecution,deliveryprogress,technicaloutput,andpriorities.
• Ensureallteammembershaveclearresponsibilities,assignedtasks,andagreeddeliverytimelines.
• Breakdownmobiledevelopmentworkintocleartechnicaltasksandassignthemeffectivelyacrosstheteam.
• Monitorprogresscloselyandproactivelyidentifyrisks,blockers,delays,anddependencies.
• Actasthefirstescalationpointformobile-relatedtechnicalanddeliveryissues.

2.MobileTechnicalLeadership

• ProvidetechnicaldirectionacrossbothiOSandAndroidmobileapplications.
• Leadtechnicaldesignsessionsandensuremobilesolutionsarescalable,secure,maintainable,andalignedwithbusinessneeds.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices, coding standards, and clean architecture principles are followed
• Challengetechnicaldecisionswhereneededandensuretherightimplementationapproachisselected.
• Supportdeveloperswithcomplextechnicalissuesandensurepropersolutionsareimplemented.

3.MobileAppDevelopment&Architecture

• Overseethedesign,development,andmaintenanceofthemobileapplicationacrossiOSandAndroid.
• EnsuretheiOSappfollowsmodernAppledevelopmentstandardsusingSwiftandrelevantAppleframeworks.
• EnsuretheAndroidappfollowsmodernAndroiddevelopmentstandardsusingKotlin/Java,AndroidSDK,Jetpacklibraries,andrelatedtechnologies.
• DefineandenforcesuitablemobilearchitecturepatternssuchasMVVM,MVC,MVP,orCleanArchitecture.
• EnsureproperintegrationwithRESTfulAPIs,backendservices,third-partySDKs,authenticationflows,andmobiledatalayers.

4.AppStore&GooglePlayOwnership

• OwnandmanagethereleaseprocessforthemobileappontheAppleAppStoreandGooglePlayStore.
• Coordinateappsubmissions,appupdates,versionmanagement,releasenotes,screenshots,storeassets,andrequiredmetadata.
• EnsurecompliancewithAppleAppStoreandGooglePlayStorepolicies,guidelines,privacyrequirements,andreviewprocesses.
• WorkwithProduct,Marketing,Compliance,Legal,andSecurityteamstoensurestorecontentandapprequirementsareproperlyaligned.

5.SystemPerformance,Quality&Reliability

• Ensurethemobileapplicationdeliversasmooth,stable,secure,andhigh-performanceuserexperience.
• Identifyandresolvemobileperformancebottlenecks,crashes,memoryissues,responsivenessissues,andplatform-specificbugs.
• WorkcloselywithQAandQAAutomationteamstosupportmobiletesting,regressiontesting,integrationtesting,andreleasevalidation.
• Ensurepropertestcoverage,includingunittesting,UItesting,integrationtesting,andautomatedtestingwhereapplicable.

6.Cross-FunctionalCollaboration

• PartnerwithProductOwnersandProductManagerstounderstandrequirements,definescope,andagreedeliverytimelines.
