Job summary

Visteon is seeking an accomplished hardware/mechatronics engineering leader in Pune, India. You will guide global teams across mechanical, electronics, and systems domains, delivering advanced cockpit electronics, infotainment, and embedded solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in hardware/mechatronics, 8-10+ years in leadership, and a proven track record in managing complex international programs with strong stakeholder engagement. An expert in EMC/DFMEA and cost-quality tradeoffs is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in hardware/mechatronics product design and development.
• 8-10+ years of leadership experience managing global engineering teams.
• Strong experience in automotive electro-mechanical systems such as cockpit electronics, infotainment, displays, or embedded systems.
• Deep knowledge of embedded electronics architectures and system-level design
• Strong understanding of mechatronics integration (mechanical + electronics + systems).
• Proven expertise in EMC, DFM, DFT, DFMEA, and automotive quality standards
• Strong appreciation for requirements engineering and impact on cost, quality, and performance.
• Experience in new product development lifecycle (NPD) for electro-mechanical products.
• Exposure to CAE, simulation, and validation/testing domains.
• Ability to lead complex global programs across multiple geographies.
• Should be an expert in: Advanced Engineering & Technology Development; People Development & Change Management; Strategic Planning and Organizational Leadership; Decision Making and Influencing Stakeholders; Proven ability to build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams.; Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills.; Exposure to global customers/culture is a strong advantage.
