Job summary

PeopleCert is seeking a Director-ITIL (Presales) to provide ITIL subject matter expertise to the global ITIL ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of Business Development, Product and Marketing, with travel expected and the possibility to be located anywhere.

You will engage with corporates, governments, and training partners to grow awareness and market size; collaborate with Sales, Product and Marketing to enable sales with ITIL expertise; drive webinars, events, and partnerships to

Qualifications

• Recognised global expert in ITIL and digital product and service management.
• 10+ years’ experience with ITIL products, including real-world consulting or practitioner work.
• Experience with ITIL training partner networks and government/enterprise clients is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Connect with corporates, government entities and other professional bodies to grow ITIL awareness and market size.
• Collaborate with global ITIL Business Development to increase ITIL product sales.
• Work with Product Management to provide input to content development.
• Partner with Marketing to promote the ITIL brand and support events/webinars.
• Support partner organizations with client calls, sales enablement, and marketing resources to sell more ITIL products.
• Inspire and motivate the ITIL ecosystem, including ambassadors and the ITIL Community Group.
• Participate in conferences and ITIL education events to promote ITIL across regions.
• Collaborate with group-wide teams (LanguageCert, ITIL, City & Guilds, DevOps) to drive performance.

As a Director-ITIL (Presales), your responsibilities will include:

• Connecting with corporates, governmententitiesand other professional organizations to help grow the awareness and the market size of theITILproducts.
• Working closely with globalITILBusiness Development to sell moreITILproducts.
• Working closely with Product Management, and Product Development to provide input to content development
• Working closely with global Marketing to promote theITILbrand
• Supporting theITILpartner organizations with client calls, sales enablement activities, marketingsupportand other resources to sell moreITILproducts.
• Undertaking webinars, speaking events, paneldiscussionsand other activities to promote theITILbrand.
• Inspiring and motivating theITILecosystem, includingITILAmbassadors, and the officialITILCommunity Group.
• Forging and nurturing high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers in the ecosystem to promoteITILproducts.
• Participatingin conferences,ITILeducation events, and strategic forums promotingITIL.
• Collaborating group-wide (inc.LanguageCert, ITIL, City & Guilds, DevOps) to drive group-wide performance.
• Providing input (asrequired) toPeopleCertreports and business updates.

What we are looking for:

• Recognisedglobal expert inITIL and Digital Product and Service Management
• 10+ years’ experience working withITILproducts. This includes real-world consulting and/or practitioner experience beyond just providing training courses
• Understanding ofotherdigital product and servicemanagement products, such asCOBIT, IT4IT, ISO20001.Established record of working with the bodies that own or promote these products is an advantage
• Extensive understanding ofITILtraining partner organizations.
• Accredited trainer/consultant in some/all oftheITILproducts would beadvantageous
• Extensive experience of undertaking webinars, speaking at conferences, and othermarketing activities
• Extensive experience of working with Sales teams to provide subject matterexpertiseinITIL. For example: sales enablement activities.
• Extensive experience of undertaking client business development activities. For example, creating proposals/formal bids, providingITILexpertiseon client calls.
• Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
