Job summary

Quickbase is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead strategy, delivery, and improvement of internal IT services for a global SaaS company. You will oversee end-user technology, cloud, networking, identity, and enterprise applications, while partnering with security leaders on controls and incident response.

This role focuses on developing a capable service organization, managing budgets, vendors, and governance, and driving an IT roadmap aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; equivalent directly relevant experience may be substituted.
• Ten to twelve years of progressive IT experience, including at least five years leading managers or multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Broad internal IT leadership experience across service delivery, end-user technology, cloud, infrastructure, networking, identity, endpoints, collaboration, and selected enterprise applications in a distributed environment.
• Demonstrated success with IT strategy, service management, project and application portfolio governance, budgets, vendors, licensing, workforce planning, and executive communication.
• Experience partnering with security leadership on controls, risk remediation, audit support, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Position Summary The Director of Information Technology leads the strategy, delivery, and improvement of internal technology services for a global SaaS company. The role covers employee technology experience, service management, infrastructure, cloud, networking, identity, selected business applications, portfolio governance, vendors and licensing, and business continuity and disaster recovery. This is a strategic player-coach role that develops a capable service organization while remaining able to lead major incidents, review architecture and configurations, diagnose complex issues, and perform targeted technical work. The Director partners with the CISO and other leaders on cybersecurity, compliance, data governance, and responsible AI. Security, privacy, resilience, data protection, and responsible AI are expected considerations in every service, project, purchase, and operational decision. The role supports corporate IT and does not own the customer-facing SaaS production platform.

• Technical depth to review architecture and configurations, diagnose complex failures, lead major incidents, and use scripting or automation without becoming the routine systems administrator.
• Practical experience with responsible AI or automation governance and enablement; M&A or major integration experience is strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience in a SaaS or technology company and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Workday, Jira, Netskope, SentinelOne, ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable platforms are preferred.
• Relevant ITIL, PMP, security, cloud, or AI governance certifications are helpful but not required.
