Job summary

EY’s Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence consulting practice seeks a Sr. Manager / Director to lead Intelligent Automation (IA) and AI transformations, with emphasis on Agentic AI frameworks for Global Capability Centre (GCC) / Global Business Services (GBS).

You will guide high‑performing teams to architect, deploy, and scale autonomous, multi‑agent AI workflows. You will manage a team of consultants, drive business development, and deliver strategic digital transformation

Qualifications

• Total Experience: 12–15 years with at least 5 years leading Intelligent Automation, AI, or advanced analytics programs.
• Background: Experience in Big 4/Tier‑1 IT services or GCC leadership with client/account management and business development.
• Delivery/Project experience: hands‑on in technology‑led transformation, process transformation, and process mining.
• Technical/conceptual: strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, autonomous AI agents, multi‑agent orchestration, AI governance & risk.

Job Title

Sr. Manager / Director Consulting (Automation AI Agentic AI)

EYs Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence consulting practice works with clients and help them transform their business using Automation, AI/ML, Agentic AI technologies. The team focusses on bringing together deep functional, process and domain/sector knowledge along with extensive experience in implementing leading cutting-edge automation technologies. The scope of services and coverage of this team spans across the wider automation technology spectrum (Process automation, Process mining, workflow solns, AI/ML solns, Agentic AI etc.).

Role Description:

This role will focus on driving Intelligent Automation (IA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformations, with a specialized emphasis on Agentic AI frameworks, for our clients in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) / Global Business Services (GBS). The role will require leading high-performing teams to architect, deploy, and scale autonomous, multi-agent AI workflows that move GCCs up the maturity curvefrom transactional centers to high-value global innovation hubs.

The role requires a skilled and experienced consulting professional with a strong focus on digital transformation, business development, consulting delivery with emerging technology experience. In this role, the candidate should be able to lead and drive strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise in digital transformation and emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. He/she will be responsible for managing a team of consultants, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring successful project delivery.

The candidate should have:

• Total Experience: 1215 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to leading Intelligent Automation, AI, or advanced analytics programs.
• Background: Prior experience of working within a Big 4 firm, Tier-1 IT Services company or as a leader inside a premier GCC driving enterprise-wide automation roles with focus on client a/c management and business development
• Delivery / Project experience: The candidate should preferably have had hands-on experience in managing projects in technology led transformation, process transformation, process mining projects etc. preferably with focus on automation, AI/ML, Agentic AI etc.
• Technical /Conceptual Competency: Deep conceptual and strategic understanding of LLMs, RAG, foundational AI infrastructure, familiarity with autonomous AI agents, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, Process Mining and Orchestration layers, AI Governance & Risk Frameworks etc.
• Education: B.E. / B. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a premier institute; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top-tier business school is highly preferredRole & responsibilities
