Job summary

Sapiens invites a seasoned BA Director to join our Bengaluru team as Director – Insurance Practice. You will drive end-to-end solution design and lead cross-functional workshops, aligning customer processes with out-of-the-box systems in a dynamic, global software environment.

In this role, you’ll mentor BA teams, partner with delivery, product, QA, and engineering to ensure quality and governance, and act as a trusted advisor to senior clients in P&C insurance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Business Analysis and Solution Design experience.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge in P&C in large, complex implementations.
• Ability to lead Blueprint, Solution Design, and governance workshops.
• Strong governance, risk management and decision-making skills.
• Ability to understand data models and structures of complex technology systems.
• Experience in managing BA competency development.
• Partner with delivery, product, QA, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of functional scope.

What You’ll Do

The BA Director is responsible for end-to-end solution design and functional leadership for multiple projects, ensuring cross-domain alignment, fully configuration based approach by aligning customer business processes with OOTB systems processes and overall solution quality while acting as a trusted advisor to customers.

What To Have For This Position

Must have Skills:

• 15+ years of Business Analysis and Solution Design Experience.
• Stronge insurance domain knowledge in P&C in large, complex insurance implementations and proven track record in getting Customers to change/align their processes with OOTB system processes.
• Ability to lead Blueprint, Solution Design, and governance workshops.
• Strong solution governance, risk management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to understand data models and structures of complex technology systems.
• Experience in managing BA competency development.
• Partner with delivery, product, QA, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of functional scope

Product Knowledge:

• Expert knowledge of Sapiens’ core insurance applications (Sapiens IDITSuite, Sapiens Coresuite for L&P, Sapiens Reinsurance) or equivalent core applications including but not limited to Guidewire, Duckcreek, Policy400, Genesys, Ebao Tech
• Fluency across core insurance processes, configuration, and architecture.
• Ability to consider cross-product impacts including Digital and Reinsurance solutions.

AI-Related Expectations:

• Use LLM/AI tools for requirements analysis, documentation, and process mapping.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for correctness, bias, hallucination, and business rule alignment.
• Use AI for SQL generation, test data creation, scenario expansion, and analytical insights.
• Building autonomous Agentic AI system to achieve various BA objectives without constant human oversight.
• Adhere to responsible AI governance, privacy, and validation disciplines.
