Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to join our organization in Gurugram as the Director of Finance. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing the entire financial ecosystem of the company. Your day-to-day will involve steering complex financial operations, ensuring rigorous reporting standards, and driving long-term fiscal health.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional department heads and external stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable financial strategies. By providing deep analytical insights and maintaining robust governance, you will directly influence the companys growth trajectory, capital allocation efficiency, and overall market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

– Direct the end-to-end financial reporting and accounting functions to ensure absolute accuracy, compliance with statutory regulations, and transparency for board-level stakeholders.

– Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) operations.

– Manage all direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing compliance requirements.

– Support contract review, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements.

– Effective governance across finance, procurement, and legal processes.

– Spearhead strategic finance initiatives, including long-range planning and capital structure optimization, to support the companys expansion goals and profitability targets.

– Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing the leadership team with data-driven insights that enable agile decision-making and resource optimization.

– Manage treasury operations, tax planning, and risk mitigation frameworks to safeguard the organizations assets and ensure seamless liquidity management.

– Mentor and scale high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous process improvement across the organization.

Required Skillset:

– Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial reporting frameworks and accounting operations within large-scale, fast-paced corporate environments.

– Proven ability to translate high-level business strategies into robust financial models, utilizing advanced analytical skills to drive commercial outcomes.

– Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders and managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

– Strong educational background, typically a Chartered Accountant (CA) reflecting a deep understanding of global financial standards.

– High degree of adaptability to a hybrid work environment in Gurugram, maintaining a hands‑on leadership approach while navigating the complexities of a growing enterprise.
