Job Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Should be able to collaborate with multiple Govt. regulatory bodies, ministry and port authorities on frequent occasions
• Act as a strategic business partner for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh region, should have good understanding of the compliance and regulations in these regions
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation plans to safeguard the company's financial health.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and corporate governance policies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance financial performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director Finance should have:

• Qualified CA with at least 17+ years of experience in the shipping industry, preferably
