Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead IoT platform initiatives across multiple projects. The role emphasizes end‑to‑end development in embedded systems, C/C++, Android/Linux, and driver/framework layers on Qualcomm chipsets.

The candidate will drive cross‑functional collaboration with project engineers, technology leads and product marketing, handling multiple projects simultaneously from concept through deployment and support.

Qualifications

Overview

Lead IOT platform leadership delivering on multiple projects

Key Responsibilities

• Experience dealing multiple life cycles of the project end‑to‑end right from software conceptualization for new chipsets to product commercialization with customers
• Hands‑on tech experience in Embedded Systems. Proficiency in coding, design and implementation. Coding experience in C/C+, Android/Linux, Drivers/Frameworks, end‑to‑end software stack
• Candidate is expected to lead multiple projects simultaneously on Qualcomm chipsets working with Project Engineers, Technology Leads, Product Marketing and business teams

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong development experience with C/C++ and good programming skills in Embedded Systems
• Past experience working in Android/Linux/Windows areas for Embedded Products
• Strong communication skills and analytics skills
• Strong understanding of SOC systems and related concepts, including bring‑up
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting software and system issues
• Strong hands‑on experience with full software development life cycle including design, implementation, deployment and support
• Strong aptitude, quick learner, self‑motivated, willing to explore and work across breadth of various technology areas
• Deductive problem solving, good verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
