This role is instrumental in reshaping Integrated Finance through digital transformation & innovation, aligning technology, processes, and stakeholder needs to drive strategic agility and operational excellence. The incumbent will bring strong digital acumen, finance domain expertise to deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions that enhance visibility, accelerate execution, and improve decision‑making across the enterprise. Complexity of the role (Optional):
- The Digital Finance Director will lead the next wave of Finance transformation, helping build a future‑ready, AI‑enabled and increasingly agentic Finance organization.
- The role will work closely with the Group CFO, India CFO, Business Finance CFOs and Finance leadership teams, as well as the Global Capability Centre (GCC), to simplify and standardize Finance processes, deploy digital and AI capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- The mandate goes beyond implementing technology. The role will reimagine how Finance operates, embedding AI and intelligent agents across Finance processes to improve decision‑making, automate transactional and knowledge work, strengthen controls and progressively improve the productivity and effectiveness of the Finance organization.
- Success will ultimately be measured through three forms of value:
- Shaping the Future Finance Operating Model: Define and steer the evolution of a digitally enabled Finance function by aligning technology, data, AI, processes, and organizational capabilities with long‑term business strategy and transformation ambitions.
- Institutionalizing Scalable Governance and Delivery Excellence: Build and govern enterprise‑wide transformation frameworks that accelerate innovation and speed of execution while ensuring compliance, risk resilience, data integrity, and operational sustainability across the Finance ecosystem.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?
Lead the Next Wave of Finance Transformation
- Own and drive the enterprise Finance Digital Transformation agenda across Corporate Finance, Business Finance, GCC and other Finance functions.
- Build the roadmap for the future of Finance , combining process simplification, standardization, automation, data, analytics, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
- Reimagine end‑to‑end Finance processes rather than simply digitizing existing ways of working.
- Drive transformation across Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), FP&A, MIS and management reporting, Taxation, Treasury, Controls, Internal Audit and other Finance processes .
- Establish measurable transformation outcomes and ensure adoption and value realization.
2. Build an Agentic Finance Operating Model
- Develop an agentic framework for Finance , identifying where intelligent agents can automate activities, augment Finance professionals or fundamentally redesign processes.
- Build a prioritized portfolio of Finance agents across transactional, analytical, reporting, control and decision‑support processes.
- Move Finance progressively from workflow‑based automation and RPA towards intelligent and autonomous execution where appropriate.
- Integrate agents with enterprise platforms, ERP, Finance applications, data platforms and existing automation.
- Establish appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls, governance, security and accountability for AI‑driven Finance processes.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI capabilities and translate them into practical enterprise Finance use cases.
3. Deliver Quantifiable Business Value
Every major transformation initiative should be linked to one or more measurable outcomes:
- Top‑line benefit: better commercial decisions, improved revenue realization, working‑capital or business‑performance impact.
- Bottom‑line benefit: direct cost reduction, leakage prevention, better procurement economics and operating‑cost improvement.
- Efficiency benefit: measurable productivity improvement, FTE/headcount capacity released or avoided, faster cycle times and greater process automation.
Build a disciplined mechanism to baseline, track and report these benefits rather than measuring transformation primarily through project delivery.
4. Transform and Partner with the Global Capability Centre
- Partner closely with the Global Capability Centre serving multiple businesses, customers and geographies .
- Identify opportunities for process consolidation, standardization and automation across the GCC.
- Drive productivity and operating leverage through AI, agents, automation and redesigned processes.
- Help evolve the GCC from a transaction‑processing organization towards an increasingly digital, analytical and AI‑enabled Finance capability centre .
- Establish productivity, service, quality and efficiency measures and continuously improve them.
5. Act as the Digital Business Partner to Finance Leadership
- Partner closely with the Group CFO, India CFO, Business Finance CFOs and their leadership teams .
- Understand Finance and business priorities and translate them into transformation agendas and executable digital products and programs.
- Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities where technology, data and AI can materially change Finance outcomes.
- Bring an external perspective on emerging Finance practices, platforms and AI capabilities.
- Build strong alignment between Finance, Digital & Technology, GCC, implementation partners and other stakeholders.
6. Standardize and Simplify Finance Processes
- Establish common process architecture and standards across Finance.
- Reduce process fragmentation, unnecessary customization and manual interventions.
- Drive harmonization across businesses and geographies wherever economically and operationally appropriate.
- Build strong process ownership, controls, KPIs and governance.
- Ensure technology follows the redesigned process rather than automating inefficient legacy processes.
7. Own Transformation Execution and Governance
- Govern the Finance transformation portfolio through business value, strategic importance and measurable ROI.
- Establish clear roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, adoption measures and benefit‑real
