Job summary

Visa, a world leader in payments technology, seeks a Director - VCA to lead pipeline development, sell-in, and delivery oversight for services to key FI and fintech clients. The role requires 10+ years of payments and consulting experience and senior leadership capabilities.

The position is hybrid, with office days to be confirmed by the Hiring Manager and opportunities to influence payment strategy across global clients. This role drives revenue targets and high‑quality consulting delivery.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified, with a post graduate degree in management.
• 10+ years of overall experience, with understanding of payments.
• Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
• Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
• Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
• Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in several key payments business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards.
• Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance with a significant focus on impacting return on investment.
• Knowledge and understanding of banking and / or payments.
• Ideal candidate will have payments and consulting experience

Job Description

The Director - VCA is responsible for pipeline development, sell-in, and delivery oversight of VCA services to key FI and Fintech clients at Visa. The individual will bring in experience of business development in a consulting capacity, with an understanding of payments. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a track record of revenue targets and high quality consulting delivery. The three key responsibilities include:

• Business and pipeline development with specific clients
• Pursuit, problem understanding, proposal development, pitching and price negotiations
• Oversight of delivery teams as needed to ensure delivery quality.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
