Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or similar numerate field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in analytics leadership.
  • Experience leading analytics in a global SaaS context and governance.
  • Strong strategic leadership, influence, and prioritization skills.
  • Significant data platform experience, Databricks preferred.
  • Experience driving governance and AI-enabled analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a unified analytics strategy with a published quarterly roadmap.
  • Lead APAC region as a visible culture carrier aligning local and global priorities.
  • Oversee BI and platform strategy for power users, executives, and producers.

The Role

The Analytics team is seeking a Director to join and lead the team. The Analytics team is a globally distributed team core to Addepar's transition to next-generation data and analytics with a scalable global operating model. Its mission is to empower analysts, researchers, and internal teams to create and share data and insights - driving data driven decision making at scale. The Director will define and execute the strategic vision for the function, while driving operationalisation, governance, and platform maturity across regions.

What Youll Do
  • Define and execute a unified analytics strategy in partnership with key stakeholders, with a published roadmap reviewed quarterly
  • Serve as a culture carrier and visible leader for the APAC region, bridging local teams with global priorities
  • Lead BI and platform strategy, including persona-driven architecture and enablement paths for power users, consumers, executives, and producers
  • Lead global expansion of the analytics platform - hardening existing regional implementations and validating a repeatable architecture for new regions
  • Drive the operationalisation of the data estate - establishing observability, SLOs, and handoff standards so that ops teams can own production feeds
  • Own and drive Data Governance outcomes for Analytics - identifying Critical Data Elements, automating publisher responsibilities into workflows, and building an AI-ready data estate in partnership with the broader Data Governance function to establish Analytics as the pace-setter for governance standards across the organisation
Who You Are
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or similar numerate field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 12+ years of overall relevant working experience.
  • Experience in leading Analytics functions in a global SaaS context.
  • Strong Leadership and Strategic skills - Strategic Influence, Change Leadership, Prioritization Discipline
  • Experience as a regional leader visible presence, local culture building, bridging regional and global priorities
  • Minimum 10+ years in Data Analytics, with significant experience leading teams and functions
  • Deep data platform experience, Databricks strongly preferred
  • Data Governance leadership - experience driving governance outcomes ahead of the organisation, setting standards and securing stakeholder alignment
  • AI fluency understands what makes data AI-consumable (lineage, schema, quality, ontology) and has a vision for how AI accelerates analytics outcomes
  • A confident and positive outlook with low ego; high degree of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
