Job summary

Addepar in Pune is seeking a software engineering manager to lead the Alternatives Data Management team. You will guide a full-stack group of engineers, collaborate with Product and Design to deliver client-facing features, and help define technical direction for AI-powered data products within private markets.

The role requires a BS in CS, 10+ years in software engineering, 2+ years leading teams, and strong Python/Java or AWS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum 2+ years managing software engineering teams.
• Full-stack, product engineering experience a big plus.
• React experience a plus.
• Strong experience with Python OR Java will be required.
• Experience with AWS will be highly preferred.

The Role

We are currently seeking a software engineering manager to join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team. Our team is building AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments. You’ll lead a full-stack team of engineers and collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver client-facing features that will set us apart from our competitors.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Important Note: This role requires working from our Pune office 3 days a week (hybrid work model)
