TP seeks a Director – AI Architect to lead the global design and governance of its AI architecture under the TP.ai FAB framework. You will define technical direction, integration standards, and scalable patterns across AI platforms and products, bridging AI Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale AI systems in production.
• Proven ability to work with distributed teams, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise data/model architectures.
• Deep knowledge of MLOps, orchestration pipelines, and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve end-to-end AI architecture blueprint.
• Oversee AI microservices, APIs and integration layers.
• Ensure interoperability between ML models and data systems.
• Establish architecture principles and FAB-aligned governance.
• Maintain architectural repositories and versioning of reusable components.
• Define guardrails for security, compliance, and Responsible AI.
• Partner with Data/ML Eng and Product teams for scalable AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal on GDPR and governance.
• Provide architectural oversight for global AI projects.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, LangGraph).
• Lead POC and platform evaluations for FAB’s AI roadmap.
• Drive cloud-native and hybrid deployments across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Guide distributed teams of Solution Architects and Senior AI Engineers.
• Promote MLOps, observability, and testing practices.
• Develop capacity within regional AI squads.

The Opportunity

The Director – AI Architect leads the global design and governance of Teleperformance’s AI architecture under the TP.ai FAB framework. This role is responsible for defining the technical direction, integration standards, and scalable architecture patterns for AI platforms and products across all FAB layers — ensuring interoperability between data, models, and applications. The Director acts as a cross‑functional leader bridging AI Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Security teams, driving architectural excellence, reusability, and compliance across the enterprise AI landscape.

The Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the end-to-end AI architecture blueprint, including model lifecycle, data flow, and orchestration pipelines.
• Oversee the design of AI microservices, APIs, and integration layers with FAB foundation and enablement components.
• Ensure interoperability between ML models, data systems, and user‑facing applications.
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, and review processes aligned with FAB’s global governance.
• Maintain architectural repositories, documentation, and versioning of reusable AI components.
• Define guardrails for security, compliance, and Responsible AI practices across all deployments.
• Partner with Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and Product teams to ensure scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment with SOC2, GDPR, and AI governance standards.
• Provide architectural oversight for global AI projects and client implementations.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, LangGraph, RAG, multimodal architectures).
• Lead proof‑of‑concept and platform evaluations to guide FAB’s AI evolution roadmap.
• Drive cloud‑native and hybrid AI deployment models leveraging Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Guide a distributed team of Solution Architects and Senior AI Engineers.
• Promote best practices in MLOps, model versioning, observability, and testing.
• Build architectural capacity within regional and product‑specific AI squads.

The Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering. Postgraduate studies or certifications in AI/ML Architecture or Cloud Architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP) are highly desirable.
• 12+ years of experience in software or AI engineering, including at least 5 years in architectural or leadership roles.
• Proven track record designing and implementing large‑scale AI or ML systems in production environments.
• Experience working with distributed teams, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise‑level data and model architectures.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI frameworks, ethical AI design, and risk governance.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML architectures, MLOps, and orchestration pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, Node.js, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
• Expertise in cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
• Strong understanding of microservices design, API orchestration, containerization.
• Knowledge of vector databases, RAG architectures, and prompt management systems.
• Experience integrating security, compliance, and observability into AI workflows.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong systems‑design capability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences.
