Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a senior finance professional to manage end-to-end financial operations for client engagements. You will oversee GL processing, close cycles, reconciliations and monthly reporting, while mentoring teams and driving process improvements.

The role requires extensive experience in Ind AS, ERP environments, and coordinating with auditors and stakeholders to achieve SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance function end-to-end client finance management.
• GL transactions review and postings for assets, liabilities, investments, borrowings, fixed assets, employee transactions.
• Reconciliation of bank statements, customer, related party, taxes, investments, borrowings.
• Prepare monthly management reporting: balance sheet, P&L, budget vs actuals, ageing analysis.
• Manage monthly close to agreed timelines.
• Own client engagements, deliver SLAs and KPIs, build relationships.
• Lead deployment of tech solutions to improve operations.
• Communicate with Deloitte teams and client stakeholders.
• Data entry, master data management, accounting, journal entries, ERP reporting.
• Prepare financial statements under Ind AS.
• Coordinate with auditors.
• Assist in client acquisition and team management.
• Ensure three-way link between Partner, professionals, and clients.
• Mentor team members.
• Business development to present service offerings.
• Create market eminence.

Your work profile

• You should have good experience of working in a finance function or managing a clients finance function on an end to end basis


• You should have experience in reviewing and processing transactions from a GL perspective including recording / reviewing entries for assets, liabilities, investments, borrowings, fixed assets, employee related transactions etc.


• You should have good exposure on reconciliation related activities such as reconciliation of bank statements to books, customer account reconciliations, related party reconciliations, accounting of taxes, investments, borrowings etc.


• You should be able to prepare monthly management reporting statements including balance sheet, statement of profit & loss, budget vs actuals, ageing analysis for various headers etc.


• You should be able to run and manage monthly closing activities according to the pre-agreed timelines


• Take ownership of client engagements in respect of their finance and accounting requirements, manage, monitor and deliver SLAs and KPIs and develop sound business relationships.


• Lead deployment of latest technology solutions relevant to our services and pursue continuous innovation to bring efficiencies in the operations and service offerings.


• You should be able to communicate with multiple teams within Deloitte and also as a client stakeholder


• You should have good experience of data entry, master data management, accounting, journal entry, book closure and reporting in ERP. Should have practical exposure in ERP.


• You should have exposure in preparation of financial statements (preferably under Ind AS)


• You should be able to coordinate with auditors for resolution of queries, preparation of audit documentation


• Assist in client acquisition and team management


• Ensure three-way link between Partner, other professionals, and clients.


• Actively mentor team members to maximize their contribution to achieve required outcomes.


• Undertake business development initiatives by meeting and assistance in presenting service offerings to potential clients


• Assist in creating eminence in the market.
