Job summary

Roots Group of Companies in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, invites applications for a Fixture Development and Manufacturing role. You will design fixtures, interpret drawings, and coordinate with design and production teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of milling, turning, drilling, welding, GD&T and precision inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.

Qualifications

• Fixture design and development for machining fixtures.
• Ability to execute milling and turning processes with accuracy.
• Welding process understanding and practice.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience in quality inspection of machined/fixture parts.
• Use of measuring tools like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
• Fixture and machine assembly per technical requirements.
• Root cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing.
• Commitment to quality standards and process improvements.
