Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Pune, India, is seeking a Digital Software Engineer Group Manager to lead a senior engineering team. Hybrid work arrangement with responsibilities spanning design, delivery, and governance of complex software solutions.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality, secure software while aligning with enterprise standards and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in development, delivery, and support of mission critical, customer facing applications.
• Ability to self-learn new technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large and Small Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, AI Agents, Agentic AI, Generative AI, Predictive AI.
• Experience in using one or more of Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Devin.
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, HTML5, Java, Spring Boot, Python, Solace, MQ, JMS, Spring JPA, Hibernate ORM, JDBC, COBOL, Mainframe, Jenkins, Oracle, DB2, MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, and SaaS.
• Experience in design, build, and deployment of APIs & Microservices.
• Experience in BDD and test automation.
• Good knowledge of design patterns.
• Ability to design & build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Experience in Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in building frameworks and reusable shared components.
