Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking a Lead Java Engineer – Vice President to sculpt and automate our public cloud infrastructure from Accounts to compute and storage. You will lead engineering best practices, drive cloud-native solutions, and partner with developers through the full SDLC in a hybrid Pune setting.

The role requires 12+ years of cloud software development experience, strong Java/Spring Boot, and hands-on work with GCP or AWS, Terraform is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years of software development/automation in the Cloud Platform engineering domain.
• Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation using Java with Spring Boot and related tooling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable) and CI/CD, IAM, Security practices.

## Lead Java Engineer - Vice PresidentApply: Hybrid: Pune Maharashtra India: Full time: Posted Today: 26989016**Role Description**The Public Cloud Infrastructure Lead Developer will be instrumental in implementing the architecture and the engineering processes and best practices to enable the foundational infrastructure (Accounts, network, compute, storage, observability) required for application hosting in public cloud. This role is responsible for development of microservices, automate infrastructure provisioning and orchestration in public cloud. The ideal candidate has experience in professional software development, designing and creating highly available cloud systems, and can implement cloud strategy. Advanced industry knowledge is key, as well as knowledge in building an engineering organization.
