Job summary

Opella in Hyderabad seeks a Digital S2V Purchasing Expert to own the Sourcing, Contract Management and Purchasing landscape, and to serve as the digital functional owner of the LEO Coupa and OROlabs apps, ensuring smooth integration with SAP S/4HANA.

This role collaborates with global stakeholders, Digital, and support teams to deliver compliant, scalable and user‑centric solutions that generate measurable business value and robust operational performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Coupa or SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA MM or FI.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Sourcing, CLM and Purchasing processes in a global environment.
• Ability to translate business needs into sustainable digital solutions with an operational focus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Digital contact for Sourcing, Contract Management and Purchasing processes with global stakeholders.
• Own and manage the LEO Coupa and ORO applications, including configuration, releases, and ERP integration.
• Ensure end‑to‑end integration between LEO/ORO and SAP S/4HANA with master data alignment.
• Oversee SAP configuration for Purchasing Organizations and MM‑FI modules; troubleshoot and optimize processes.
• Deliver implementations for high complexity requirements in defined scope.
• Provide functional/technical expertise on SAP S/4HANA MM‑FI and S2V processes (invoicing).
• Drive incident/problem/enhancement management to reduce defects and improve UX.
• Support value initiatives across CLM, Purchasing and Sourcing from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with Architecture/Integration to meet enterprise standards.

About the job: The Digital S2V Purchasing Expert is responsible for the operational stability, optimization, and evolution of the Sourcing, Contract Management and Purchasing application landscape within Source to Value (S2V). The role acts as the Digital functional owner of the LEO Coupa and OROlabs applications at Global level, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA as the core ERP system. The position partners closely with global business stakeholders, Digital, and support teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and user‑centric solutions that generate measurable business value.

Main responsibilities:

• Act as the primary Digital contact for Sourcing, Contract Management and Purchasing processes, liaising with global business stakeholders within established governance frameworks.
• Own and manage the LEO Coupa and ORO applications, including configuration, releases, integration with ERPs and other apps, vendors, contracts, licenses, and budget.
• Ensure robust end‑to‑end integration between LEO/ORO and SAP S/4HANA, including correct creation of documents (Purchase Orders, Good receipts, taxes) and master data alignment.
• Oversee and support SAP configuration for Purchasing Organizations and MM‑FI modules, including troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Hands‑on role on the defined scope, delivering implementations for high compliexity requirements.
• Provide functional and technical expertise on SAP S/4HANA MM‑FI, and related S2V processes (e.g., invoicing).
• Drive incident, problem, and enhancement management, reducing defects while improving user experience and process efficiency.
• Support and contribute to business value initiatives and projects impacting CLM, Purchasing and Sourcing, from design validation to deployment.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Integration teams to ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and best practices.

About you:

8+ years of experience with Coupa or SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA MM or FI. Other sourcing, CLM, Purchasing solutions are valuable. Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Sourcing, CLM and Purchasing processes in a global environment. Proven ability to translate business needs into sustainable digital solutions with strong operational focus. Proactivity to learn and implement new trends, strongly related to AI capabilities.
