Job summary

Opella in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Data & AI Product Expert to lead end-to-end Data & AI use cases within M&S. You will engage with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and HSE stakeholders, and work hands-on in SAP, Snowflake/Databricks, DBT, Power BI and AI tools to deliver scalable products.

You have 10+ years in M&S data environments, strong SAP experience in M&S, and a degree in Engineering or Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: act as Forward Deployed Engineer with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and HSE stakeholders.
• Hands-on Delivery: work within SAP, Snowflake/Databricks, DBT, Power BI and AI tools.
• Lead end-to-end Data & AI use cases from ideation to industrialization.
• Design ontology-driven semantic layers integrating SAP and enterprise data.
• Build Power BI dashboards and contribute to AI-driven applications.
• Ensure data governance, quality, lineage and compliance across M&S domains.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), closely collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and HSE stakeholders, embedding within business teams to identify and deliver high-value Data & AI use cases.
• Hands-on Delivery: Actively work directly within systems (SAP, Snowflake / Databricks, DBT, Power BI and AI tools), ensuring both design and execution.
• Data & AI Use Case Leadership: Lead end-to-end Data & AI use cases from ideation to industrialization.
• Ontology / Semantic Layer Design: Design and implement scalable ontology-driven semantic layers integrating SAP and enterprise data.
• Dashboard & Application Development: Build Power BI dashboards and contribute to AI-driven applications.
• Data Governance & Validation: Ensure quality, lineage and compliance across M&S domains.
• About You:Required Skills & Qualifications
• Business Understanding: Strong Supply Chain and Manufacturing expertise (primary focus), with exposure to Quality and HSE.
• SAP Expertise (Mandatory): Minimum 5 years' hands-on SAP experience in M&S domains.
• Hands-on Technical Capability: Proven ability to implement solutions directly in systems.
• AI & Data Product Development: Experience delivering ML and GenAI solutions.
• Technical Skills: Snowflake / DataBricks, DBT, Power BI and AI tools expertise.
• Experience: 10+ years in M&S data environments.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Data Science or related field. Soft and Behavioral Skills
