Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a skilled video editor and motion designer to edit across formats, design motion graphics, and own the full post‑production chain. You will develop storyboards from briefs, maintain a consistent visual identity, and produce 2D/3D assets as needed.

The role requires leadership of a small team, ability to work under tight deadlines, and fluency in Hindi/English with Gujarati a plus. AI-assisted tools may be used within brand guardrails.

Responsibilities

Edit and deliver video across formats — short-form reels, long-form cuts, interview edits, event films, explainers and promotional pieces — to publishing deadlines

• Design and produce motion graphics — titles, lower-thirds, transitions, animated typography, data visualization and title sequences — that establish a consistent visual identity.
• Develop storyboards from scripts and briefs, translating editorial concepts into clear visual sequences before production begins.
• Own the full post‑production chain — assembly, colour correction, audio enhancement, subtitling, branding elements and final mastering for each platform specification.
• Build and maintain the visual style system — templates, presets, motion libraries, typography and colour standards — so output stays consistent as volume scales.
• Produce 2D and 3D animation and rendered assets where narrative or explanatory content requires it.
• Apply AI‑assisted production tools for speed and scale where appropriate, within approved guardrails on synthetic voice, likeness and generated imagery.
• Coordinate with Studio videographers and photographers on shoot requirements, capture specifications and asset handover.
• Manage footage ingest, project organization, versioning and archival handover in line with the Foundry’s asset management standards.
• Ensure every cut carries the required factual and editorial clearance before publication, verifying claims, figures and attributions against Life Ledger source material.
• Guide and review the work of junior video and design resources as the team scales.

Qualifications

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Accomplished video editor and motion designer with a strong body of finished work across short‑form and long‑form formats.
• Deep craft command of the Adobe production suite — Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition — at professional speed.
• Working capability in 3D — modelling, animation, lighting and rendering — for explanatory and brand‑led content.
• Demonstrated ability to develop storyboards and visual concepts from written scripts, not only to execute supplied direction.
• Strong sense of restraint and register — able to produce work that reads as considered and senior, not over‑designed or trend‑chasing.
• Experience leading or reviewing the work of a small production team, with ownership of deadlines and quality standards.
• Fluent with AI‑assisted production tooling and sound judgment about where it is and is not appropriate for a principal‑led brand.
• Reliable under volume and rapid turnaround; takes edits without friction; discreet with unreleased material.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 10–14 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics or multimedia production, with a reviewable portfolio or showreel.
• Prior experience as Motion Graphics Manager, Senior Video Editor, Motion Design Lead or equivalent, with end‑to‑end ownership from pre‑production to final delivery, will be strongly preferred.
• Experience leading a small video production team and managing concurrent projects against fixed deadlines will be highly valued.
• Demonstrable experience producing social‑first short‑form video alongside longer branded or corporate formats.
• Working knowledge of 3D pipelines — 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D or equivalent — and of render workflows.
• Comfort producing and reviewing output in Hindi and English, including subtitling and on screen text. Gujarati will be an advantage.
• Degree in visual arts, design, animation or a related discipline required.
