Job summary

Ashdon Interior Works is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer in Bengaluru to transform briefs and footage into engaging stories that communicate clearly. You will edit, craft motion graphics and ensure the visual language supports the brand’s message.

We value a 1–3 year portfolio in video editing, strong skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a sharp eye for detail and pacing. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 01–03 years of portfolio in video editing, motion design, filmmaking, content or a related creative discipline that makes us wants to see more.
• Strong hands-on skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a genuine understanding of motion graphics, typography, animation and compositing.
• A strong understanding of editing, pacing, composition, visual hierarchy, typography, music and sound.
• The ability to select and use B-roll, stock footage and supporting visuals with intention, knowing what to use, when to use it and, equally importantly, when not to use it.
• Good understanding of media management organizing footage, transferring production data, maintaining clean project structures and keeping reliable backups.
• The ability to turn complex business or technology subjects into simple, engaging stories.
• The ability to take a creative brief and find the idea behind it, not just execute what's written.
• Comfort working with feedback and collaborating with different teams.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• An attention to detail that extends beyond the obvious.

Responsibilities

• Edit and craft videos from briefs, footage and stories.

We’re looking for a Video Editor & Motion Designer who understands that communication isn't just about what we say but it's about how we make people see it. Now, we’re looking for someone who wants to help us shape what those stories look and feel like.

THE ROLE

You’ll be part editor, part motion designer, part storyteller. You’ll take a thought, a brief, a conversation, a presentation, a pile of footage and sometimes all of the above and figure out the most interesting way to turn it into something people will watch working closely with the brand and internal teams to create work that is creative without losing the message.

WHAT YOU'LL MAKE

• Corporate films that tell a story instead of simply delivering information.
• Short-form videos built for platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Motion-led explainers that make complicated ideas feel simple.
• Event films, teasers, openers, recaps and highlight stories.
• Typography, transitions, titles and motion systems that give the brand its own visual voice.

WHAT YOU BRING

You know your way around an edit, and you know that good editing starts long before the timeline. You understand why one shot belongs before another. You know when a cut needs to breathe and when it needs to move.You know when a B-roll adds to the story and when it’s just filling space. You understand that motion graphics should have a purpose, not just make a video look “busy”. Most importantly, you have a visual POV. You can look at a brief and figure out what the film should feel like before deciding what goes on the timeline.
