Job summary

Profex Tech seeks an experienced Video Editor to craft polished product demos, tutorials, and campaigns. You will lead end-to-end post-production, ensuring top-quality edits, timing, and brand consistency across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and campaigns.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years of editing, strong Premiere Pro and After Effects skills, and a portfolio showcasing storytelling, pacing, and social-ready content. The role suits a fast-paced startup environment in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and basic animation.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, aspect ratios, and export settings.
• Experience creating videos for digital platforms and social media.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Good knowledge of video editing, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual effects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight timelines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant video editing and creative work.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for demos, ads, tutorials, customer stories, social media, and campaigns.
• Manage end-to-end video post-production: editing, transitions, pacing, sound, exports, quality checks.
• Create videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, websites, campaigns, and email marketing.
• Develop performance-focused creatives and repurpose content into Reels, Shorts, teasers, and platform formats.
• Create motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, VFX, and basic animations in After Effects.
• Perform color correction, grading, sound design, audio enhancement, and music integration.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Design to translate briefs into stories.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Organize and maintain video assets, backups, and version control.
• Support video content for paid marketing, organic social, webinars, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for product demos, advertisements, tutorials, customer stories, social media, and brand campaigns.
• Manage end-to-end video post-production including editing, transitions, pacing, sound synchronization, exports, and quality checks.
• Create short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, websites, paid campaigns, and email marketing.
• Develop performance-focused video creatives and repurpose existing content into Reels, Shorts, teasers, and platform-specific formats.
• Create motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions, visual effects, and basic animations using Adobe After Effects.
• Perform color correction, basic color grading, sound design, audio enhancement, and background music integration.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to understand creative briefs and translate concepts into compelling visual stories.
• Maintain strong brand consistency across all video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Organize and maintain video assets, raw footage, project files, backups, and version control.
• Support video content for paid marketing, organic social media, webinars, conferences, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
