Role Description

The Diamond Jewelry Product Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This role is responsible for conceptualizing and designing lab-grown diamond jewelry collections, from everyday essentials to special occasion pieces, aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating sketches and digital designs, collaborating with sourcing and manufacturing teams, refining prototypes, and ensuring designs meet production and cost requirements. The designer will closely follow market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products to inform new collections and product enhancements. The role also involves working with branding and e-commerce teams to provide design details, storytelling points, and visual inputs for product launches and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Jewelry Design skills, including sketching, CAD design, and an understanding of diamond and metal properties.


• Candidates should possess Fashion Jewelry knowledge and an eye for trends, style, and aesthetic alignment with a modern, lab-grown diamond brand.


• Candidates should possess Customer Service awareness to interpret customer feedback, support sales teams with product knowledge, and refine designs based on market needs.


• Candidates should possess Polishing and finishing knowledge to ensure designs are practical for production and meet high standards of craftsmanship.


• Candidates should possess Training capabilities to guide junior designers or workshop teams on design specifications, quality expectations, and brand standards.


• Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field, as well as experience in diamond or fine jewelry product development.


• Additional beneficial skills include proficiency in jewelry CAD software, strong attention to detail, collaborative communication, and familiarity with lab-grown diamonds and sustainable jewelry practices.
