Job summary

GDK Jewels is seeking an experienced jewellery designer to design, prototype, and oversee production of diamond jewellery using precious metals and stones. You will stay ahead of trends, collaborate with clients, and ensure designs meet specifications.

The role requires a formal jewellery design qualification, strong CAD and design app skills, and 4–5 years of diamond jewellery experience. Proficiency in Office and Google tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal education or training in jewellery design (degree or diploma).
• Proficiency in jewellery making skills: sketching, CAD, and design apps.
• Strong creativity and aesthetics for innovative designs.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality designs.
• Awareness of latest market trends and ability to incorporate them.
• Excellent communication to work with clients and production team.
• 4–5 years' experience in the diamond jewellery industry as a designer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

3.overseeing the production process to ensure that the final product meets design specifications

1. formal education and training in jewellery design, such as a degree or diploma in jewellery design

2. proficiency in technical skills related to jewellery making such as sketching, jewellery design apps such as sketchbook or procreate,computer-aided design (CAD), and knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and metals.

3. a strong sense of creativity and aesthetics to be able to generate innovative and original ideas for designs.

4. excellent attention to detail to ensure that their designs are of high quality and meet the required standards.

5. awareness of the latest trends in the market and ability to incorporate them into their designs.
