Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in India is seeking a dedicated technician to operate haemodialysis equipment and deliver treatment to patients with kidney failure. You will set up and run the dialysis machine, prime circuits, label lines, and prepare solutions following protocol.

You will monitor equipment, explain procedures to patients to alleviate concerns, and maintain all log books and records to ensure compliant, safe dialysis sessions.

Responsibilities

• Attach dialyser and tubing to machine and prime the extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to prepare machine for use.
• Label dialyser & blood lines with patient name & ID prior to the first use (excluded single use).
• Preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate according to formula
• Explains dialysis procedure and operation of haemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
• Connects haemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitor haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
• Maintain all the log books, forms & registers.
