Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in India seeks a Dialysis Technician to operate haemodialysis machines and support patient care. You will attach dialyser and tubing, prime circuits with saline, label patient lines, prepare dialysis solutions, and explain procedures to patients to ease anxiety.

Responsibilities include connecting the machine to the patient, initiating dialysis, monitoring for malfunctions, and maintaining log books and records as required.

• Attach dialyser & tubing to machine and prime the extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% normal saline to prepare machine for use.
• Label dialyser & blood lines with patient name & ID prior to the first use (excluded single use).
• Preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate according to formula.
• Explains dialysis procedure and operation of haemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to allay anxieties.
• Connects haemodialysis machine to patient’s access site to initiate dialysis.
• Monitor haemodialysis machine for malfunction.
• Maintain all the log books, forms & registers.
