Job summary

Revanta Hospital in Tamil Nadu invites a highly qualified Diabetologist/Physician to join its Medical Services team. The role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of diabetes and related lifestyle disorders, while overseeing general medical care.

The candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients on disease management, coordinate with dietitians and nurses, and ensure NABH-compliant documentation and care standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD in General Medicine / Internal Medicine (Mandatory).
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing diabetes and general medical conditions.
• Fellowship/Certification in Diabetology will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle-related diseases.
• Conduct outpatient consultations and inpatient medical management as required.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients on disease management, nutrition, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure NABH standards and hospital policies are followed.
• Participate in health awareness programs, CMEs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Provide emergency medical care and support when required.
