FCM Travel India is seeking an experienced MICE professional to join our team in Mumbai. The role focuses on high-level commercial contract negotiations with airlines, hotels, ground transport, and DMCs to secure net fare agreements and best rates.

You will source destinations, hotels, and vendors while defining contracting strategies and managing margins. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in MICE, strong supplier management, hotel contracting, RFQ/RFP costing, and experience with

• Strong experience in outbound MICE destinations and global supplier handling.
• Hands-on experience in hotel contracting, DMC coordination, and vendor negotiations.

Day in the life:

• Lead high-level commercial contract negotiations with airlines, hotel chains, ground transport, and local DMCs to secure net fare agreements and best purchase rates


• Decode RFQ / RFP requirements and source suitable destinations, hotels, and vendors


• Strategy & P&A Ownership: Define company-wide contracting strategies, oversee inventory allocations, and manage target gross margins and supplier-driven revenue


• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term international partner networks while monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and performance quality.


• Support sales and operations teams with costing, product inputs, and feasibility checks


• Research destinations and develop competitive MICE products


• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of group movements


• Attend supplier meetings, destination trainings, webinars, and roadshows


• Ensure timely responses to queries while maintaining defined TAT


• Monitor market trends and introduce new destination and product ideas


• Support large outbound group movements through supplier coordination

You’ll be perfect for the role if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in MICE / Meetings & Events / Incentive Travel / Contracting role


• Strong experience in outbound MICE destinations and global supplier handling


• Hands-on experience in hotel contracting, DMC coordination, and vendor negotiations


• Ability to understand RFQ / RFP and prepare costing inputs


• Experience working on international group movements and corporate events


• Advanced commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation tactics, data-driven costing analysis, and strong vendor database management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


• Good knowledge of global destinations and MICE operations


• Experience in corporate travel / MICE / event travel industry preferred


• Post Graduate/ Graduate in Travel / Tourism / Hospitality or related field preferred
