Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group (FCMG) is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer Lead in India to drive end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You will mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and optimize performance in a global travel tech environment.

The role emphasizes integrations via REST/SOAP, platform events, and robust CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Salesforce development experience with at least 2+ years in a technical lead capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of Apex (triggers, classes, batch jobs, queueables) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Chatbots (Einstein/Omni-Channel).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
• Experience in integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and Platform Events.
• Expertise in Custom Metadata, Custom Settings, Flows, and Process Builder.
• Hands-on experience with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins).
• Ability to guide developers through design reviews, technical troubleshooting, and code optimization.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive integration efforts using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and Middleware tools.
• Define and implement release management, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices (Git, Copado, or Gearset).
• Maintain and enforce data security, governance, and compliance standards in Salesforce environments.

Day in the life:
