Role Overview
We are looking for a senior and experienced DGM / GM – HR Business Partner to lead the HR function for the South Region, with Hyderabad as the base location.The role will act as a strategic HR partner to the regional business leadership and will be responsible for driving the overall people strategy across multiple locations/business units. The position will partner closely with senior Operations and Business leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent management, retention, workforce planning, and HR governance.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Healthcare / US Healthcare / RCM / BPO operations, with proven experience managing HR for large-scale, multi-location operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Act as the strategic HR partner to the South Region business leadership.
- Develop and execute regional people strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Partner with senior leadership on organization structure, workforce planning, productivity, talent, and people-related business decisions.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations based on business and people analytics.
- Drive HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
Regional HR Leadership
- Own end-to-end HR delivery across the South Region.
- Lead and mentor HRBP/HR teams supporting different business units and locations.
- Establish consistent HR practices, processes, and governance across the region.
- Ensure effective collaboration between HR, Operations, TA, L&D, Payroll, Admin, and other support functions.
- Review regional HR performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Provide leadership on complex employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Establish strong employee connect mechanisms across locations and shifts.
- Drive employee engagement, culture, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Develop strategies to address attrition, absenteeism, employee morale, and workforce stability.
- Partner with business leaders to resolve organizational and employee-related challenges.
Talent & Workforce Management
- Partner with business leaders and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and manpower requirements.
- Support leadership hiring, succession planning, internal mobility, and talent development.
- Identify critical talent and high-potential employees and develop appropriate retention and career strategies.
- Drive performance management and talent review processes across the region.
- Support organizational restructuring, expansion, and change-management initiatives.
HR Analytics & Governance
- Monitor and review key HR metrics including:
- Attrition
- Absenteeism
- Employee engagement
- Headcount
- Productivity
- Hiring and staffing
- Retention
- Performance
- Present regional HR dashboards and insights to senior leadership.
- Establish HR governance mechanisms and ensure timely closure of people-related action items.
- Ensure adherence to organizational HR policies, processes, and statutory requirements.
Business & Operational Partnership
- Partner closely with Operations leadership to understand business challenges and provide practical HR solutions.
- Support high-volume and night-shift operations, particularly within US Healthcare RCM.
- Participate in business reviews and provide people-related insights and recommendations.
- Support new business launches, transitions, expansions, and organizational changes from an HR perspective.
Required Experience & Skills
- 18–22 Years years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in HRBP/Business HR leadership.
- Strong experience in Healthcare / US Healthcare / RCM / BPO environments.
- Proven experience managing HR across multiple locations or business units.
- Experience partnering with CXO/VP/Director-level business leaders.
- Strong experience in employee relations, talent management, retention, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Experience managing and developing HRBP/HR teams.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employee lifecycle, performance management, and HR governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to HR.
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced operations and complex employee relations matters.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into effective people strategies.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing 1,500+ employees across multiple locations.
- Experience supporting US Healthcare RCM operations such as AR, Coding, Denials, Payment Posting, Prior Authorization, etc.
- Strong exposure to night-shift / US-shift operations.
- Experience in a regional HR leadership role covering multiple South Indian locations.
- Experience handling large-scale organizational change, growth, transitions, or transformation projects.
- Candidates based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate to Hyderabad are preferred.
