Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the detailed design for water infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance. This role blends engineering leadership with commercial oversight, including responsibility for project P&L, invoicing, and client interaction.

The position requires 20+ years in water design, strong leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM.

Qualifications

• Requires electrical, civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering degree.
• 20+ years’ water infrastructure design experience.
• Strong commercial awareness with P&L and financial reporting experience.
• Proven client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 20+ years’ experience in water infrastructure design.
• Strong commercial awareness; hands‑on experience with P&L and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM, etc.) and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
