Job summary

Assystem invites an Engineering Manager/Team Lead to spearhead the design and delivery of water treatment projects (WTP, STP, ETP) from Bengaluru/Delhi. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and on-time project completion within budget.

The role requires 12–18 years in water/wastewater, with at least 5 years in leadership, and strong knowledge across process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Water Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 12–18 years in water/wastewater projects; 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience in STP, ETP, WTP, pumping stations, municipal & industrial water systems.
• Strong process, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for detailed design of water treatment facilities, pumping stations, sludge systems and networks.
• Oversee project management from feasibility to commissioning, including budgets, schedules and risk management.
• Lead hydraulic/process calculations, simulations, equipment sizing and treatment technology selection.
• Mentor engineers, manage resources, support recruitment and foster innovation.
• Act as primary technical contact with clients, present solutions and manage expectations.
• Review vendor submissions, resolve technical issues and support plant startup and handover.
• Implement QA/QC and ensure EH&S compliance.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and budgets.
