Job summary

Opstree is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineer in India to join our cloud-native practice. You will own and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure across multiple cloud environments, build CI/CD pipelines, and drive GitOps workflows in production.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and cost efficiency, with exposure to distributed data systems, service mesh, and FinOps practices, collaborating with engineering and security teams to improve DevSecOps maturity.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS required).
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Experience managing distributed data systems (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis).
• Strong cloud networking, IAM, and security practices.
• Observability and monitoring knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of zero-trust access and secure production access.
• Experience in multi-tenant or SaaS environments preferred.
• Exposure to service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with compliance and security standards advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI environments.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and automation tools.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD (GitOps model).
• Deploy, manage, and scale distributed data systems including MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Redis.
• Implement secure production access using IAM, RBAC, and zero-trust principles.
• Configure and enhance observability stack using Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
• Improve system reliability, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Optimize autoscaling strategies, resource allocation, and cloud cost utilization (FinOps awareness).
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to strengthen DevSecOps maturity.
