Job summary

NexTurn Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring in a 24x7 production environment. You will build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, deploy containerized apps on Kubernetes, and automate operations using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages.

The role requires hands-on cloud, container, and automation expertise, with strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration. Location in Hyderabad, India.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Kubernetes and containerized deployments experience.
  • Extensive CI/CD pipeline and automation experience.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong troubleshooting across cloud, Kubernetes, networks, and CI/CD.
  • On-call production support experience.
  • Monitoring and log management with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
  • Shell scripting for automation.
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security and governance.
  • Incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborative across development, infrastructure, security and ops teams.
  • Ownership mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support DevOps activities across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and production operations.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
  • Work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  • Assist Kubernetes troubleshooting for pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, nodes, and networking.
  • Work on AWS and Azure services related to compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, security, and container platforms.
  • Automate tasks using shell scripting, Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and environment automation.
  • Use Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Monitor health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Analyze logs, alerts, metrics, and dashboards to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in 24×7 production support and incident response.
  • Perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
  • Follow DevOps best practices for automation, version control, release management, and security.
  • Support AWS Bedrock or GenAI platform operations where applicable.
  • Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Continuously improve automation, monitoring, deployment reliability, and efficiency.

  • Hands‑on experience in Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, access management, and infrastructure governance.
  • Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, production issue resolution, and operational documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
  • Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn new technologies.
