Job Description Summary

The DevOps QA Engineer will be part of the DevOps team and responsible for implementing DevOps best practices and ensuring robust QA processes. This role involves supporting the implementation of DevOps maturity metrics, collaborating across teams to enhance software quality and performance, applying Agile process knowledge, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and applicable regulatory standards such as IEC and CMMI.

Major Responsibilities

• Implement DevOps best practices to optimize software development and deployment processes and update those best practices documentation.
• Design and integrate effective QA processes to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Quality teams on the definition and tracking of new product development KPIs.
• Support the implementation and tracking of DevOps maturity to drive continuous improvement.
• Apply Agile process knowledge to enhance workflow management and team collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC, CMMI, and applicable regulatory standards in all QA activities.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the CI/CD pipeline with quality assurance measures.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology or engineering, or any related field.
• 3 to 6 years of industry experience, including deploying and integrating DevOps tools and processes.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and migrating DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in basic CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
• Knowledge in test automation, including tools like Robot, Behave, Cypress, TestComplete or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in both DevOps and Quality roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English speaker.
