Job summary

CogniVeu is seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our engineering team, own client relationships, and drive technical excellence across our cloud practice. You will mentor engineers, own end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure, and set engineering standards for Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, and observability.

The role requires hands-on contribution as a player-coach with 6+ years in DevOps/cloud, plus leadership experience and Kubernetes certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/cloud engineering, including 2+ years in a lead or management role.
• CKA / CKAD / CKS or equivalent Kubernetes certification
• Experience in a consulting or agency environment with multiple concurrent clients
• Background in FinOps, platform engineering, or SRE

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps and cloud engineers across client engagements.
• Own end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure projects—from scoping to production.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for key enterprise clients.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and review processes.
• Drive architectural decisions for Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, and observability.
• Collaborate with leadership on hiring, team growth, and capability planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve tooling, automation, and platform efficiency.
• Contribute hands-on to technical work when needed – this is a player-coach role.
• Work with a senior, low-bureaucracy team on enterprise-scale challenges.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our engineering team, own client relationships, and drive technical excellence across our cloud practice.

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps and cloud engineers across multiple client engagements
• Own end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure projects — from scoping to production
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for key enterprise clients
• Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and review processes
• Drive architectural decisions for Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, and observability
• Collaborate with leadership on hiring, team growth, and capability planning

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) and cloud-native architecture
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
• Experience managing cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting to both engineers and C-level stakeholders
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with people management and client delivery
• CKA / CKAD / CKS or equivalent Kubernetes certification
• Experience in a consulting or agency environment with multiple concurrent clients
