Job summary

Asset Vantage in Pune, India seeks a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable cloud platforms. You will own CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure standardized deployment across environments.

We expect strong AWS expertise, IaC proficiency with Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK, Docker and Kubernetes experience, and leadership skills to mentor juniors and coordinate with engineering, security, and QA teams.

Job description

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platforms.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment standards.
• Design and manage AWS identity and access solutions, including Amazon Cognito, IAM, authentication, authorization, and access-control patterns.
• Establish DevSecOps practices across development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Coordinate and remediate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) findings.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices meet applicable security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and operational improvements.
• Provide technical solutions for complex infrastructure, application deployment, security, and performance issues.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Compliance, QA, and Product teams on architecture and release decisions.
• Define monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and environment-management standards.
• Support cloud-cost governance and optimization in collaboration with FinOps stakeholders.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and structured learning plans.
• Create and maintain architecture documents, runbooks, SOPs, deployment procedures, and control evidence.

Required technical skills

• Strong AWS experience, including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, Security Groups, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate, EKS/Kubernetes, S3, Route 53, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Cognito, including user pools, identity pools, federation, MFA, OAuth/OIDC, JWT tokens, and role-based access control.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience, including container security and deployment troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Linux, networking, scripting, and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or Splunk.
• Experience supporting VAPT activities, assessing findings, prioritizing remediation, and tracking closure.
• Understanding of security controls, vulnerability management, encryption, secrets management, access reviews, and secure configuration baselines.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and audit evidence practices, such as SOC2 internal controls.
