Job summary

Aelius Consultants Delhi is seeking an experienced DevOps leader to drive enterprise DevOps initiatives, foster a culture of collaboration, and align people, processes, and tools. You will work across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automated testing within a mature DevOps environment.

The role requires strong understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and DevOps principles, plus hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and containerization technologies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a DevOps initiative within a large enterprise IT.
• Advocating teams to adopt DevOps culture and collaboration.
• Clear Understanding of the dynamics between people, process and tools in DevOps.
• Expert technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations and deployment processes and tools.
• High level understanding of web apps, content management systems, APIs, databases, and system design.
• Solid knowledge of cloud services like AWS & Azure and the DevOps services they offer.
• Strong grasp of the SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, VSTS, TFS, Git).
• Security focus including SAST and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive DevOps initiatives within enterprise IT to improve collaboration and delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to advocate a DevOps culture and cross-functional teamwork.
• Bridge people, process, and tools to optimize deployment pipelines and operations.
• Utilize monitoring and management tools to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to design of scalable web apps and APIs with strong security posture.
• Implement IaC and containerization practices using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Drive automation testing within the DevOps lifecycle and continuous delivery.
• Keep up-to-date with shifts in DevOps practices like Canary, blue-green deployments.
