Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Pune, India is seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-native applications on GCP with Kubernetes.

You will own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Helm charts, and observability, while optimizing costs and building a robust platform with Anthos Service Mesh support. This senior role helps drive enterprise deployments and security guardrails in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services.
• Expertise in Kubernetes administration and operations (GKE).
• Proficiency with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
• Experience developing and managing Helm charts.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and secrets management.
• Knowledge of Anthos Service Mesh is desirable.
• Security guardrails and implementation expertise.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes to support the design, deployment, automation, and operational excellence of enterprise-grade cloud applications.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and operate applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for complex application deployments.
• Implement and manage observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Manage Kubernetes infrastructure including node management, auto-scaling, configuration management, and secrets management.

Your skills and experience

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) administration and operations.

• Experience developing and managing Helm charts.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, secrets management, and service networking.
• Knowledge of Anthos Service Mesh is desirable.
• Expert in Security Guardrails and implementation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting production-scale cloud platforms.
• Exposure to infrastructure cost management and optimisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud-native environments
