Based in Coimbatore, you will drive automation with PowerShell and MDT/NTLite, maintain Windows ISO and remote update server platforms, support licensing systems, and collaborate with international teams to improve reliability, security, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT.
• Strong Windows administration and deployment tech (MDT, NTLite).
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Git.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Portal.
• Knowledge of Windows GPO, Registry, drivers, and packaging.
• Experience managing Windows servers and cloud-based infra.
• Excellent English communication and global team collaboration.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer - Windows Platform & Infrastructure for Uster Technologies (India) Private Limited (Uster India), based in Coimbatore, you will help drive the tools and platforms that enable our software teams to deliver high-quality products worldwide. You will support Windows deployment solutions, Azure DevOps services, licensing systems, and engineering infrastructure while collaborating with international teams to continuously improve automation, reliability, and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Windows ISO Platform

• Develop, maintain, and support Windows ISO environments and deployment packages.
• Drive automation using PowerShell and deployment tools such as MDT and NTLite.
• Plan and coordinate the future evolution of the Windows deployment ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to ensure successful releases.
• Maintain technical documentation.

Remote Update Server Platform

• Maintain and enhance the remote update server infrastructure.
• Deliver platform upgrades and support development teams during deployments.
• Troubleshoot issues and document solutions.

Licensing Management

• Manage the EMS licensing system and Master Keys.
• Support, train, and assist internal users.
• Maintain licensing-related documentation.

DevOps & Cloud Services

• Support and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and Git repositories.
• Assist teams with build, release, and deployment processes.
• Support Azure services, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Document DevOps processes and best practices.

IT & Engineering Support

• Provide Windows platform support for R&D teams.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT and support security patching of development tools.
• Contribute to a secure and reliable engineering environment.

Required Skill & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps related activities.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Windows administration and deployment technologies (MDT, NTLite)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Git and command-line tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Portal.
• Knowledge of Windows GPO, Registry, drivers, and software packaging.
• Experience managing Windows servers, certificates, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and technical documentation skills.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure or equivalent certifications.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of CRA (Cyber Resilience Act).
• Knowledge of the textile industry.
