Job summary

AU Small Finance Bank is seeking a mid-level DevOps Engineer to design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will implement infrastructure as code, configure management tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment reliability and security.

The role requires 3–5 years in DevOps within financial services, strong Kubernetes/Docker experience, and proficiency in scripting for automation. Banking regulatory knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in financial services or banking.
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps, or CKA are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and their IT impact.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Job Brief: - AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our IT department as a mid-level DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities:-

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, compliance, and cost-efficiency aligned with financial industry standards.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate and automate workflows, improving deployment frequency and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of banking applications.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to standardize and version control environments.
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of production issues.
• Document processes, configurations, and system architecture to support knowledge sharing and compliance audits.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve the bank’s IT infrastructure.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
