Job summary

Travclan in Delhi is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer responsible for CI/CD and infrastructure automation. You will work with cloud services, automation tools, and collaborate with teams to drive technical excellence.

Profile Overview

Responsible for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). The role requires extensive knowledge of automation tools such as Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet Enterprise, Nagios, Chef, Ansible, and related technologies. You will collaborate with senior management to execute the organization’s vision while ensuring smooth operation of applications and proactively prevent emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence and automation across the infrastructure.
• Build, deploy, and operate scalable technical infrastructure and applications.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve DevOps processes.
• Provide support for deployments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Qualifications – Must Have

• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) and containerisation tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, scripting (Shell/Bash/Python), and database management (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Maven/Nexus) and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience deploying and maintaining distributed services such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ.
• 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.

Qualifications – Fit Factors

• Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Collaboration with multiple teams for streamlining DevOps workflows.
• Motivated to keep up with the rapidly evolving DevOps ecosystem.
• Willingness to work extended hours (10–12 hours a day) and be available during odd hours.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and in the office in Delhi.

• Annual CTC: ₹ 14–25 LPA
• Fast Appraisal: Appraisals in 6 months in Jan & July 2020.
