Job summary

Terrabit Consulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive CI/CD automation and manage Linux-based infrastructure in a collaborative team. You will act as a key contact under ITIL practices, focusing on automation and cost optimization while supporting enterprise applications.

Ideal candidates will have strong Kubernetes/OpenShift experience, Azure skills (Entra ID, AKS, SSO), and proficiency in Java and frontend JS frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing microservices with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Azure including Entra ID, AKS and SSO.
• Proficiency with Linux and SQL variants (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Programming skills in Java; JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React) a big plus.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Monitoring with Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace.
• BI tools Cognos/PowerBI; XML and Web Services (REST/JSON).
• On-call support experience; ITIL-aligned incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps activities in CI/CD environment and automate processes.

Role & responsibilities

Task Description: Senior DevOps Engineer, you play a crucial role of software applications in CI/CD environment. This involves your participation in the entire software development lifecycle, offering combination of Application and DevSupport. You will be acting as a single point of contact following ITIL principles. Working collaboratively within a team, you prioritize automation to streamline processes and actively monitor infrastructure capacity to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs. Additionally, you provide On Call support to swiftly address critical incidents, ensuring uninterrupted service.

• Application you will use: Practical experience with Linux, and SQL variants (PostGreSQL, Oracle, MySQL..)
• Experience in managing microservices using Kubernetes/OpenShift is must
• Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipeline workflow, namely Jenkins / GitHub Actions
• Experience in Azure; Entra ID, AKS, SSO
• Knowledge of programming languages: Java, JavaScript front-end frameworks(Angular, React) is a big plus
• Some knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash),Python
• Monitoring tools:Splunk,Grafana,Dynatrace etc.
• Familiarity with BI reporting tool Cognos/PowerBI
• Familiarity with XML,basic knowledge of Web Services:REST and JSON
