Tecnicas Reunidas in Bengaluru, India, invites an experienced Backend & Integration Engineer to design portable backend services for the Situational Awareness platform, implementing APIs, alerts and workflows across on‑prem and cloud deployments.

You will integrate with Data Lake, historians and enterprise systems, ensure security, testing, and observability, and collaborate on Docker packaging and scalable deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of backend or integration engineering experience in enterprise/industrial applications.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience, including REST APIs and testing frameworks.
• Experience with Kafka-compatible event streaming, API integration, schema/version management, and resilient error handling.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including transactional data modelling and performance optimisation.
• Practical experience with Docker, Linux, CI/CD pipelines, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, and observability.
• Experience integrating Data Lakes, historians, asset systems, or operational platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop governed adapters for the Data Lake, historians, ERP/SCADA-like systems, and approved downstream platforms.
• Implement alert lifecycle, workflow, notification, audit, and configuration services.
• Integrate backend services with event-streaming and reliable messaging components using idempotent processing.
• Apply secure coding, clean architecture, API versioning, configuration abstraction, and database transaction practices.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
• Instrument services for logs, metrics, and traces and support performance and failure-recovery testing.
• Support Docker-based packaging and consistent deployment across On-Prem and Cloud levels.

Summary

The Backend & Integration Engineer will design and develop portable backend services for the Situational Awareness platform. The role will implement APIs, alert and workflow services, and governed integrations with the central Data Lake, historians, enterprise systems, and approved external platforms across on-premises and cloud deployment profiles.
